N1 (POLOKWANE) HIGHWAY
Continue until you get the BOEKENHOUTSKLOOF / HAMMANSKRAAL turnoff on the left.
Take the off ramp, pass through the toll gate, and turn right over the highway.
Take the RUST-DE-WINTER tar road to the left and continue past KEKANA GARDENS on the left to TAU GATE – the entrance to the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve.
Jimmy’s Place is approximately 6 km further along this road. Landmarks to look out for:
- Pass KWALATA on the right
- Pass KLIPDRIFT SKOOL on the left
- A short distance after the school you will see the “JIMMY’S PLACE” sign. To the left of the sign is a wooden gate, which is the entrance into JIMMY’S PLACE.

Out on STEVE BIKO (VOORTREKKER) ROAD over Wonderboom Nek.
Continue to the robot at LAVENDER ROAD – turn left there and keep going until you get into Hammanskraal (approx. 45 km).
At the SECOND ROBOT (SPAR Shopping Centre on left), turn right – continue over highway.
Then follow the N1 directions above from: Take the RUST-DE-WINTER tar road to the left…
